A-list Iranian voice actor Bahram Zand departs this life in Iranian capital city of Tehran at the age of 69.
He died at a Tehran hospital on Saturday, a report confirms, quoting his colleague Fariba Ramezanpour as saying, “He was suffering from cancer for several years and unfortunately, he didn’t respond well to treatment.”
He was extremely famous for his works on TV series and movies, lending his voice to many leading characters played by Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, George Clooney, Russell Crowe, Robert De Niro, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Hopkins, Jean Reno and John Travolta.
He was well known for his voice on French series 'Navarro' in which he voice-acted for the French detective played by Roger Hanin.
He was also the director of voice actors for some dubbing projects. The artist voiced one of the characters in notable animated flick ‘The Elephant King’ which is currently on the silver screen in Iran.
